I could not disagree more with the entirely superficial review of this book by Mr. Banducci, who dismissses what is actually a most insightful and penetrating portrait of the Holy Mountain of Athos,apparently because it does not include many photos and the ones that do grace its pages--oh,the mediocrity!--are in black and white/5(3).
